Camp Continuity Plan

“Why do we need Plan B?”
“What could go wrong?”
“I think we should be fine.”

These statements are absence of business continuity planning (BCP) strategy.

Business without BCP is a single tent.

BCP is a core concept for passing CISSP exam. It helps to identify critical business functions before disaster hits.

The disaster could be a cyberattack, fire, earthquake or flood.

CISSP As An Art (CaaART) comic:
The tent on the camping site is a corporate office.

Relaxing in a tent is a critical business operation.

An asteroid hitting a tent is an unexpected disaster.

Running out in panic shows that there was no… camp continuity planning.

In summary, BCP is a second tent. You may not use it while camping, but you need to set it up in a safe location.

In my CISSP world, every concept is a story, art, or visual. Join the CISSP As An Art (CaaART) tribe, the first visual-only CISSP course.
