Japan, Perspective

Static Is Dynamic

I didn’t feel like I was in Japan until I walked on the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing.

I shot a timelapse video.

It’s just a bunch of zebra crossing.

Nothing special.

The red signal gathers people from all sides. Once it turns green, the ant-like people walk over, crossing from all sides.

I was mesmerised.

People from all over the world were like celebrities on those black-and-white lines.

I was one of them. I walked with style and asked my wife to take a photo.

A thought hit into my head.

A static zebra crossing drives the dynamics of people from all over the world.

It was an interesting thought which expanded like an amoeba.

People become dynamic once they are after static things.

Money is static. The stock and crypto markets are dynamic.

A house is static. A lifetime mortgage and hustle are dynamic.

Temples, Mosques and Churches are static. The religious violence, business and wars are dynamic.

The Sun is static. It does not move, but it drives the dynamic of visual sensory for sunrise and sunset.

Food is static. It drives people to restaurants, supermarkets, and sometimes hospitals.

A product is static. It creates a commercial dynamic transaction – online and offline.

A marriage invitation and obituary cards are static. However, it creates various means of transport across cities, states, and countries.

The President/ Prime Minister chair is static. The politics and chaos after that position are dynamic.

A bunch of musical instruments are static. It creates dynamic vibes and liberates people from within.

Cigarettes, alcohol and drugs are static. The feeling of (before and after) consuming them creates dynamics of highs and lows.

The human private body parts are static. But it drives the hormones in men, women and fuel to the porn industry.

The book is static. It drives the imagination in the human mind.

I had never thought about or felt “static” and “dynamic” objects and people.

The static and dynamic are not different entities. They are intertwined.

Static creates dynamics.

Dynamics lead to static.

Life is dynamic.

Death is static.

I smiled.

I realised that I was standing on the Shibuya Crossing in Japan.

My heart was beating.

I looked around.

So many people.

I acknowledge that dynamic moment of my lovely life on a static zebra crossing.
