Do

I take a long time to execute ideas from my mind.

I did make films, speak at public events, overcome obstacles, and learn to play guitar. However, all of these things took longer than I should have because I had to wait.

I realised it had cost years because I had been waiting for the perfect day.

The perfect day does not exist.

I have started taking action on my projects.

No delays.

My poetic attempt to express overthinking is an illusion; taking action is living in the moment.

Do.
I do.
Waiting is an illusion.
Taking action is not.
Waiting does not exist.
A small action does exist.
Waiting for an action costs time.
So does action.

The only difference is that waiting to do something does not create an outcome.
A tiny action is an input. It creates output.

The result could be right or wrong.
But it’s absolute.

The one who delays is not unplugged.
They are inside the matrix.
It’s time to pull the plug.
It’s time to realise that I’m mortal.
Being mortal means I have limited time.

Every day.
Every hour.
Every minute.
Every moment.
One thought.
One direction.
One action.
Many roads.
Many villages.
Many people.
It’s sunny some days.
Some days, it rains.
Thunderstorm on rare days.
I travel.
Run.
Walk.
Crawl.
Rest.
I run again.
For what?

My success?
No.
My deepest desire?
No.
My ultimate destiny?
No.
My legacy?
Yes.

That’s what matters.
Success and fame die.
Legacy never dies.
